Jack Fisher, Director of Government Affairs at Archer Public Affairs in Trenton, New Jersey spoke at the New Jersey Conference of Mayors’ 2014 Annual Spring Conference.  As Chairman of the Local Unit Alignment, Reorganization and Consolidation Commission, Mr. Fisher explained that the Commission was charged by law to facilitate shared services and consolidations.  With bipartisan and regionalized membership, the Commission’s professional membership style is to “roll up our sleeves and work with local governments to bring about reduction of costs while improving and expanding services to the community.” 

Mr. Fisher was one of six members of the panel discussion titled “Shared Services - Successes, Proposals, S-1 Legislation”.  This was the New Jersey Conference of Mayors’ 51st Annual Spring Conference which spanned over three days at the Borgata Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, NJ.  The three day event included several panel discussions, meetings, receptions and prizes. 

Mr. Fisher is the Director of Governmental Affairs Specialist at Archer Public Affairs. He brings more than 40 years of experience working with municipalities, counties, and the State of New Jersey and its citizens. He possesses a career that spans the public and private sectors.
