Archer partner Lori Grifa has been named to ROI-NJ’s first-ever “ROI Influencers: Women in Business 2021 List.” The 2021 ROI Influencers: Women in Business list honors the best women in the New Jersey business world, and includes eight sector categories. Lori is being recognized in the “Professional Services” category. Referring to Lori’s inclusion, ROI-NJ states, “She’s been a go-to lawyer on all things real estate for some time. (Great wit, too!).”

Practicing law for more than 30 years, Lori expertly unties the administrative and regulatory knots that frustrate and plague the business community. She brings a deep level of experience, knowledge and insight to matters involving the New Jersey Departments of Community Affairs, Banking & Insurance, Environmental Protection, Health, Human Services, Labor, Transportation and Treasury, as well as the state’s professional Licensing Boards and the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Prior to joining Archer, Lori served in Governor Chris Christie’s Cabinet as the commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. During her tenure, Lori also chaired the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission, the New Jersey Redevelopment Agency, the New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing and the New Jersey Housing Mortgage Finance Agency. In addition to creating approximately 3,000 units of affordable housing during this period, she managed 2,200 annual grant programs involving nearly $500 million. Lori is also a Director with Archer Public Affairs.
