Veteran energy, regulatory and governance leader to guide the chapter’s continued growth
Archer Public Affairs is pleased to announce that Richard S. Mroz, the firm’s Senior Director, Strategy & Regulatory Affairs, has been elected chair of the board of directors of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) New Jersey Chapter, effective June 12. As chair, Richard will lead the chapter as it continues to advance its mission of empowering New Jersey directors and their boards to drive stakeholder value through high-quality education, exchange and engagement.
Richard has built a distinguished career spanning law, government and business, including serving as President of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, where he was the state’s Chief Energy Officer. He has also held numerous national leadership positions focused on energy policy, cybersecurity, infrastructure resilience and corporate governance. Richard currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, where he chairs the Housing Committee, and is a frequent speaker on corporate governance, energy policy and critical infrastructure resilience.
